We bought a shoe cabinet from IKEA to house some of our shoes.
The ladder was a tip-shop find and the buckets were from Kmart - a bargain at $8 each.
I was given the window earlier this year. It was a freebie, thrown in with the purchase of another window (which we used for our chook shed), but this one had a broken pane of glass. After cleaning it up and removing the broken glass I attached some chicken wire to the back of it so we can hang stuff on it.
We put new handles (matching our kitchen handles) on the shoe cabinet and some number tags that I made (following the tutorial here - however, I used my vinyl cutter instead of stamping the tags).
We had two spare cupboards that were replaced by the builder as they were damaged. I was happy that they left the doors with us because I knew that I'd use them for something one day. So we've made a key holder with one....
... and a display for these gorgeous measuring spoons with the other. I bought these spoons from Anthropology a few years ago. The knob is a handy place to hang aprons on. This looks perfect in our kitchen.
We plan on buying an old church pew to finish off the mudroom, then we'll put up a coat rack over the pew. So now to keep an eye on eBay and Gumtree and hope the perfect pew comes up soon.
